2023年ISARCH Awards在12月1日揭曉年度得獎名單，本次共有來自全球22個國家，近3500件作品參賽，最終選出了168名優勝者。其中建築設計專業類別共計19名得獎。本校設計學院設計博士班陳鼎岳同學結合在校所學與業界實務設計專業經驗，考慮使用者的需求，以永續生態、通用設計、健康住宅為設計理念，完成建築設計作品-【Serene】，於眾多參賽者中脫穎而出，榮獲2023 ISARCH Awards Winner，在此恭喜陳鼎岳同學，並期待他未來的更多佳作。
ISARCH Awards成立於 2001 年，是針對專業設計公司和任何設計領域的優秀學生的國際獎項。目標是為全球公司和大學的架構和設計解決方案提供一個辯論平臺，為專業設計公司和任何設計領域的優秀學生皆可以參與的國際獎項。該獎項涵蓋多學科設計和藝術學科，獎項涵蓋建築、產品、平面、時尚、數位和藝術之六大領域。

作品說明:
Taiwan has the tenth highest population density in the world. Therefore, the city full of building, and formation of urban heat island effect. Also, under the influence of Taiwan's subtropical region and special geographical location, stuffy, humid and unfriendly concrete buildings have seriously plagued people's quality of life in the city. This case is mainly in modern style, considering the needs of users, the concept of sustainable ecology, universal design and healthy housing. In the end, we create the hustle and bustle of urban environment, customers can return to a healthy, stabilize and secure residence. Design Strategy: 1. break the existing wall, and using French windows to reflect the balcony plants into interior, in terms of materials, stone, metal, mirror, glass, black, and gray are mainly used to improve the elegant and comfortable texture of the space, create an open, stabilize and cold feeling. 2. Reduce air conditioning energy consumption: Using materials, colors, air convection, and lighting design can freely change the number of lamps, the irradiation position, and the irradiation angle to meet the needs of users and achieve the effect of energy saving and carbon reduction. 3. Universal design - the sliding door is mainly on the upper track to achieve the ground flatness. 4. Carbon Footprint: using local material are environmentally friendly and low-formaldehyde building materials and paints.
