The latest 2026 "World’s Top 2% Scientists" list has been jointly released by Stanford University and Elsevier. This year, 249,310 experts and scholars worldwide were selected, including 1,509 prestigious researchers from Taiwan's scientific community.
Derived from Scopus, the world's largest abstract and citation database, the dataset is categorized into the "Career-long Scientific Impact Rankings" and the "Single-year Scientific Impact Rankings". The selection evaluates scholars based on six key bibliometric indicators, including total citations, to provide a comprehensive measure of their long-term research performance.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Professor I-Jui Lee from the Department of Industrial Design for his remarkable achievement of being selected for the "Single-year Scientific Impact Rankings" for four consecutive years (2023–2026).
