History of College

National Taipei University of Technology's College of Design was created in 2001.The College of Design offers comprehensive studies including Department of Industrial Design, Department of Architecture, Graduate Institute of Architecture and Urban Design, Graduate Institute of Innovation and Design, Graduate Institute of Design (Ph.D.). The College has a network of related academic departments in Britain, America, Germany, Australia, Japan, Mainland China and elsewhere with which it has established research links and joint training. The PhD program had been approved in 2006. The aim of all curricula in the College of Design is to develop and integrate the highly professional designer's attention and sensitivity in sustainability, ecology, planning, landscape, architecture, engineering, product, interior, innovation and consultation so as to keep abreast with the global trend.
